LINDINSIDE - Smartphone app
A smartphone with the LINDINSIDE mobile application serves as a handheld device, allowing easy connectivity to the controllers on Lindinvent’s communication loop that support Bluetooth®. Authorized personnel can use the app to configure the controller linked to their mobile device.
LINDINSIDE is also used during commissioning to set the controller’s Node ID on the communication loop.
For connectivity with controllers that do not yet support Bluetooth®, see the DHP handheld device.
Commissioning via the LINDINSIDE mobile app
Products with Bluetooth® are commissioned by assigning a unique Node ID and configuring a set of parameters. A Quick Setup option allows for fast and easy activation. With the LINDINSIDE mobile app, a smartphone connects via Bluetooth® to the selected product. The scanned and identified controllers are displayed in LINDINSIDE as a list of selectable nodes. A signal strength indicator and a clickable icon for each node in the list help users locate the specific controller they want to manage. The selected controller within range typically responds by emitting a clear sound signal and flashing, making identification easy.
Current Value
Via LINDINSIDE, a selection of actual values from the controller can be easily read for analysis or troubleshooting. The complete set of parameters, including variable values for the individual controller, can be accessed and updated through LINDINSIDE. Once the Node ID has been assigned and the communication loop is connected to the central system, the full list of parameters becomes available in LINDINSPECT®.
