Down-flow bench control with Lindinvent

Two stage airflow controller FLL is used to maintain a continuous and stable air flow through the bench. The air flow can be temporarily kept at a controlled pre-defined minimum airflow. Control is via damper control in the extract air duct.

  • The workflow is maintained with high accuracy. FLL continuously measures the airflow via the internal flow meter connected via hoses to a measuring flange.
  • Electric interlocking contactor EFK can be connected to the controller. EFK can break the voltage to electrical outlets when measuring an insufficient flow to evacuate flammable substances.
  • FLOCHECK F is used as a drawbar guard / user panel. Via the panel, the operator can manually switch temporarily from the normal workflow to the reduced airflow.
  • FLOCHECK F displays status messages and notices staff in the event of an abnormal airflow.

The down-flow bench are equipped with Lindinvents 2-mode air flow controller FLL.

The set work flow is maintained with high accuracy via damper throttle control. FLL continuously measures the air flow via the internal flow meter which is connected via hoses to the measuring flange.

Electric interlock contactor EFK can be connected to the controller. EFK breaks the voltage to electrical outlets after adjustable time in case of insufficient flow. This is a safety measure to avoid explosions, for example when handling flammable substances.

FLOCHECK F is the user panel (AP). The panel is used to temporary change the operating mode from normal workflow to the reduced airflow. FLOCHECK F also displays status messages and indicates alarms.

This chart shows a down-flow bench with it's own transformator for power supply. FLL is not connected to the communication network.
