Maximum comfort - minimal use of energy

An active sun screen does more than just prevent the sun from shining in, annoying the eyes. Our solution for sun screen provides an active installation for maximum comfort to a minimal use of energy. An ordinary automatic sun screen always activates the curtains when the sun comes up thus preventing light and heat from entering the room via the windows.

However - if the room is empty and cold it is way smarter to take advantage of the solar heat which is exactly what our demand controlled sun screen does.

• Cold, empty room when the sun is shining - let in the sun to warm it up!
• Cold, empty room when the sun has gone down and it's cold outside - activate the sun screen and improve the U-value of the window!

If presence is detected in the room, it is up to the facility manager to decide which rules should apply. There's always the possibility to control the sun screen with wireless or wired push buttons.
