FBLb - Flow Regulator
+ DOCUMENTATION + TYPRUM
The regulator is used as a control unit for dampers with damper motors for balancing supply and exhaust air or for constant flow control. FBLb is also used for flow measurement. The integrated flow sensor is factory-calibrated. FBLb is part of the flow control system DCV-BLb and the flow measurement system DCV-MFb, see the product category Smart Dampers. The regulator connects to 24 VAC and a communication bus (CAN) via a common 4-wire cable.
Balancing Supply and Exhaust Air in the Building: Why It Matters
- Avoid pushing moist air into the walls (overpressure)
- Avoid drawing in cold or warm air into the building, which increases energy usage for climate control (underpressure)
- Avoid whistling around doors. In protective ventilation, it is crucial that the pressure differential between rooms is correct to avoid unwanted air movements
Features
- Used to measure, maintain, sum, or balance airflows in a way that provides great flexibility in designing room climate solutions.
- Can be part of a flow zone that includes up to 100 active supply air diffusers or other control units.
- Can add a positive or negative offset when regulating airflow.
- By selecting a specific function, the unit can act as a slave in relation to another flow control system within the zone.
- A number of parameters can be read and adjusted via the network and/or directly on the control unit via a connected user panel.
- Can be connected via Node ID to a communication bus (CAN) for access and communication with other cooperating nodes.
- Can communicate with other systems via LINDINTELL or via Gateway NCE with Modbus TCP/RTU.
- Equipped with Bluetooth® for communication via mobile devices using the LINDINSIDE app.
