FCLb - Fume Hood Regulator

The FCLb is a fume hood regulator that has replaced the previous FCC and FCL models. It ensures a safe working environment by maintaining the correct airflow velocity at the fume hood's sash opening, regardless of the sash height, up to a marked safety level.

Features

  • Quickly and accurately regulates the airflow velocity at the fume hood sash opening to 0.5 m/s, regardless of the sash height, up to the marked safety level, using a damper with a motorized actuator.
  • Equipped with an internal airflow meter.
  • Includes a velocity probe that is installed inside the fume hood and connected to the FCLb via a supplied hose.
  • The FLOCHECK V fume hood monitor is connected as a fixed user panel. This panel allows manual switching of operating modes and serves as part of the safety equipment, alerting staff if the airflow velocity falls outside prescribed limits.
  • Through FLOCHECK V, the operator can temporarily select emergency or setup mode. In emergency mode, the airflow velocity is increased, and both acoustic and visual alarms are activated. In setup mode, the airflow velocity is reduced to a standby level.
  • Can be connected via node ID to a communication loop (CAN) for access and communication with other cooperating nodes or systems via LINDINTELL or Gateway NCE with Modbus TCP/RTU.
  • Parameters can be monitored and controlled from LINDINTELL/LINDINSPECT® via CAN.
  • The EFK interlocking contactor can be connected, allowing the FCLb to cut power to electrical outlets during alarms to prevent risks such as explosions when handling flammable substances
  • Bluetooth® enabled for access via the LINDINSIDE mobile application.
