WHISTLEBLOWING POLICY
Lindinvent strives to be an open and transparent workplace where misconduct should not occur. As an employer, it is important to us that reporting misconduct is simple, confidential, and secure.
Who can report?
You can blow the whistle and receive protection under the Whistleblower Act if you are an employee, job applicant, former employee, or intern, for example. Contractors and suppliers working with Lindinvent who become aware of misconduct can also report.
What can I report?
If you suspect misconduct, violations of laws, or breaches of regulations, we encourage you to report them as a whistleblowing case. However, security-classified information is exempt from whistleblowing.
Examples of misconduct in the public interest that should be reported include:
- Deliberate misrepresentation in accounting, internal financial control failures, or other financial crimes.
- Theft, corruption, vandalism, fraud, embezzlement, or data breaches.
- Serious environmental violations or major workplace safety deficiencies.
- Severe cases of discrimination or harassment.
- Other serious misconduct affecting individuals’ lives or health.
- Other serious misconduct affecting the company's vital interests.
Lindinvent is committed to providing a safe workplace where everyone is treated with respect in all interactions. We firmly reject all forms of bullying, harassment, and inappropriate treatment.
How do I report?
We use Visslan, our digital whistleblowing channel, which is always accessible via the following link.
Describe what has happened in as much detail as possible to ensure the right actions are taken. Feel free to attach written documents, images, or audio files.
- Do not include sensitive personal data, such as ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or sexual orientation.
- You can remain anonymous throughout the entire process without affecting your legal protection.
Whistleblowers are legally protected from negative consequences after reporting misconduct. This means that threats of retaliation or attempts at retaliation are strictly prohibited. Examples of such retaliation include termination, reassignment of duties, threats, discrimination, or blacklisting within your industry as a result of whistleblowing. This protection also applies when disclosing information publicly.
