BCXb - Chilled Beam Controller
+ DOCUMENTATION + TYPRUM
The BCXb is a controller designed for room climate regulation via chilled beams. It provides functionality to control heating, cooling, and airflow in sequence using temperature, carbon dioxide, and occupancy sensors. All sensors can be pre-installed in the chilled beam, ensuring a quick and easy on-site installation.
The BCXb has been integrated into or used to complement chilled beams from manufacturers such as Fläktgroup, Halton, and Lindab in various projects, along with other control equipment from Lindinvent.
Features
- Transforms the chilled beam into an intelligent control unit and room climate regulator.
- The space is equipped with occupancy sensors and other necessary sensors for true demand-controlled operation.
- Adjusts the supply airflow and sequentially activates heating or cooling based on set points, operating mode, and measured climate data.
- Can integrate lighting control into occupancy-based lighting zones.
- Connects via node ID to a local network (CAN) for stable communication between cooperating control units.
- The Gateway NCE connects via a network interface for access and communication with higher-level systems.
- The controller is programmable, with parameters that can be monitored and adjusted either directly on the unit or remotely via network connection.
- Bluetooth® enabled for access through the LINDINSIDE mobile application.
