GS-C - Sound Level Sensor
+ DOCUMENTATION
GS-C is a digital sound level sensor designed for ceiling mounting and connection to Lindinvent's active supply air units or other room climate controllers.
High noise levels are the third most common complaint in offices, according to research conducted at UC Berkeley (read the article here).
Addressing dissatisfaction among tenants in commercial spaces can be crucial in determining whether a tenant decides to stay or leave. Tenant satisfaction is of significant importance to property owners who must meet the increasingly high demands for the working environment. This includes not only air quality and temperature but also noise levels.
Noise is one of the issues that we can measure and visualize with our GS-C sensor, providing property owners with data that can be analyzed and used to inform corrective actions. It also allows for the selection of a workspace in a measured quiet zone. All aimed at making the office a better meeting place and workplace.
Applications
The sensor measures only sound levels and can be used to monitor noise levels in spaces such as classrooms. Measurement data can be used for alarms with potential actions when the noise level exceeds certain thresholds.
- Present sound signatures for individual spaces
- Alarms (Indicate high noise levels)
