GT-S is used as an accessory to a room climate controller to control valve actuators and simultaneously measure radiator heat. The sensor module reduces installation time and only requires ONE connection point for the electrician.

Up to 20% of the operating technician's working time during the winter months can be spent investigating malfunctioning radiators. With GT-S and LINDINSPECT®, tenant complaints about a lack of heat from radiators can be prevented. Monitoring radiator circuits reduces the property's energy usage.

Applications

Several sources of errors can be investigated and detected:

• Non-functioning actuators
• Non-functioning bypass groups
• Non-ventilated radiators
• Blocked valves
• Incorrect pipe connections
• Transmission losses in the piping system
• Incorrect supply temperature
• Removed valve actuators

The sensor module can be ordered and delivered as an assembly. The assembly consists of a temperature sensor and a valve actuator (NC or NO) connected to a junction box. The junction box also contains the connection for the room climate controller. The sensor is equipped with a magnet for placement on the back of the radiator.
